What is it actually made of?

A blend of milk silk, modal and spandex. It is a fine, soft knit that stretches four ways, so it moves when you reach or bend and then springs back instead of bagging out at the bust. Lightweight, fully opaque, and quick to dry.

Can I take the padding out?

Yes. Two looks from one tank.Leave them in for shape and a little lift. Take them out for a softer, natural line, and you stay covered either way because the chest is double layered.They stay put while you wear them, with no folding or sliding sideways. Take them out before washing so they hold their shape, then slide them back in once the tank is dry.

Will it show under a white or light coloured top?

No. There is no clasp, no hook and no bra band, so there is nothing to print through the fabric. The knit sits smooth across your back instead of leaving the ridge a bra band leaves, and the double layer through the chest keeps it opaque under white.

Will it roll up or ride up during the day?

It is cut longer than a standard tank, so it tucks under a waistband and stays there when you reach up or bend down. The support sits on a wide band rather than a narrow elastic, and a narrow elastic is what creeps up on most tanks by lunchtime.

Can I wear it on its own, or only under something?

Both. Most women wear it on its own at home and out on errands, then layer it under a cardigan, a blouse or a jacket. It is full coverage either way, and there is no bra underneath it.

How do I wash it so the support lasts?

Machine wash cold on the gentle cycle, inside out, with a mild detergent. Skip the fabric softener, it coats the stretch fibers and the band stops springing back. No bleach, and keep it out of the dryer, because heat is what wears out the stretch. Hang it to dry.
